What values and soft skills appear?

Now match your existing experience to their requirements. Create a simple mapping:

The Formula

Every bullet should answer three questions:

  1. What did you build? (the feature, the system, the tool)
  2. What technology did you use? (exact keywords from the JD)
  3. What was the impact? (number, percentage, dollar amount)

If your bullet doesn't answer all three, rewrite it.

Step 4: Match the Skills Section

Your skills section should mirror the job description's language exactly:

JD says: Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker

Your skills section:

  • Languages: Java, Python, SQL
  • Frameworks: Spring Boot, gRPC
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis

Don't add technologies you haven't used. Don't skip technologies you have used that match the JD.
